Project Goals & Action Steps
The overall goal of this project is to develop a formal written handbook
for teachers to reference when completing job-related tasks. The resulting
sub-goals of this project are:
1. To allow teachers new to academies more time to focus on students and less time focusing on the "how to's" of the paperwork required.
2. To provide site coordinators a tool they can adapt for their own sites to use for employees' training.
Below are the actions steps to achieve this goal:
1. Create the handbook via Google Drive in order to share with other site coordinators for personalization at individual sites.
2. Poll teachers new to academies to identify areas where additional training/instruction are needed.
3. Use pilot sections of the handbook throughout the year to test its effectiveness and update as necessary.
4. Submit the handbook to Administration for approval and distribution.
